Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Review, code, and process high volumes of vendor invoices with 100% accuracy.
- Verification: Verify invoice data against purchase orders, receiving reports, and contracts to ensure compliance.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and address any discrepancies promptly.
- Vendor Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries regarding payments and status.
- Reporting: Assist in the month-end close process by preparing aging reports and variance analysis.
- System Maintenance: Maintain and update the AP sub-ledger and general ledger entries.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups).
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) for the duration of this position.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
