Responsibilities
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy, coding, and authorization before processing payments.
- Perform month-end and week-end close procedures, including matching, coding, and approving invoices.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and process weekly payment runs for the weekend schedule.
- Manage and update vendor master data in our accounting ERP system.
- Assist with month-end reporting and ad-hoc accounting projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Bookkeeping.
- Previous experience working a Weekend Shift is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable internet connection for hybrid/remote candidates in Virginia.
