Responsibilities
- Process high-volume accounts payable transactions and vendor invoices with 99.5% accuracy
- Reconcile payment discrepancies and resolve vendor inquiries within 24 hours
- Execute electronic payments and maintain updated vendor master data
- Collaborate with procurement team on invoice discrepancies and payment terms
- Prepare weekly AP reports for financial analysis and compliance audits
- Implement process improvements to reduce invoice processing time by 15%
Qualifications
- 3+ years of accounts payable experience with weekend shift preference
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and SAP/Oracle ERP
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) designation preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven error reduction metrics
- Ability to work independently during non-business hours with remote team support
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and 1099 processing
