Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Accurately receive, code, and process a high volume of invoices in a timely manner.
- Vendor Relations: Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies and payment issues.
- Data Entry: Maintain precise records in accounting software, ensuring all data is error-free.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly account reconciliations and bank statement analysis.
- Reporting: Assist in preparing weekly or monthly payment reports and variance analysis.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and internal controls regarding accounts payable procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related finance role.
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and MS Excel.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and ensure data integrity.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Education: Associate degree or certificate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
