Responsibilities
- Process and verify high-volume invoices for accuracy, coding, and completeness.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare and issue weekly and monthly payments via wire transfer, ACH, and check.
- Maintain accurate records in the AP ledger and generate aging reports.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and invoice discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and financial reporting requirements.
- Perform data entry and administrative tasks to support the finance department.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in Accounts Payable or a related finance role.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in financial data.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating or fixed schedule.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
