Responsibilities
- Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance
- Manage accounts payable ledger and reconcile statements
- Coordinate with procurement and accounting teams to resolve discrepancies
- Execute timely payments via ACH, checks, and wire transfers
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems
- Support month-end closing procedures
- Adhere to internal controls and SOX compliance requirements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of accounts payable experience
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and procurement cycles
- High school diploma; Associate's degree in accounting preferred
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with high-volume transaction processing
