Responsibilities
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and authorization before processing payments.
- Manage high-volume invoice processing using ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or NetSuite).
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or billing errors promptly.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and company financial policies.
- Assist with month-end close procedures, including accruals and aging reports.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment status and invoice inquiries.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all AP documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting.
- Proficiency in financial software (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a proven track record of error-free data processing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
