Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness in a timely manner.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Maintain and update the accounts payable ledger using accounting software.
- Prepare and issue payments via check, electronic transfer, or ACH.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve billing questions and maintain positive relationships.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Manage the approval workflow for expense reports and purchase orders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, or NetSuite preferred).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle a high volume of transactions.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
