As a key member of our finance team, you will ensure that our vendors are paid accurately and on time, while maintaining strict compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, coding, and approval according to company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Manage the AP workflow within our ERP system, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with month-end close procedures.
- Maintain and update vendor master files and payment terms.
- Handle incoming vendor inquiries regarding payments and account status.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or General Ledger accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or Oracle) is required.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) are essential.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and rectify them quickly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for vendor interactions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
