Job Overview
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for the full cycle of accounts payable processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely vendor payments. This is a critical role supporting our operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and authorization.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or billing errors.
- Manage vendor relationships, including onboarding new vendors and answering inquiries.
- Prepare and post payments via ACH and wire transfers.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and prepare AP aging reports.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal controls and GAAP standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of direct experience in Accounts Payable.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
