Responsibilities
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Process and enter invoices into the accounting system (QuickBooks) with 100% accuracy.
- Match purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices to ensure correct payments are made.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and maintain the accounts payable ledger.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and audit preparation.
- Reconcile vendor statements and manage the cash disbursement process.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Business is a plus.
- No prior experience required – we are looking for eager learners.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of math and financial concepts is preferred but not mandatory.
