Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies efficiently.
- Prepare and issue payments via ACH, wire transfer, or check in a timely manner.
- Manage and maintain the general ledger accounts within the AP module of our ERP system.
- Assist with the month-end close process, including accruals and financial reporting.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoice status and account balances.
- Perform regular audits of accounts payable records to ensure internal controls.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or BlackLine) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
