Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain and update vendor master files, ensuring all data is current and accurate.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and issue payments via ACH, wire transfer, or check while adhering to payment terms.
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and adjustments.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external vendors to resolve billing issues.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of proven experience in Accounts Payable or similar financial roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite preferred).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) is required.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
