We are looking for a proactive individual to manage our accounts payable workflows efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare and issue payments via check, electronic transfer, or ACH.
- Maintain organized digital and physical files for all AP transactions.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding billing inquiries and payment status.
- Utilize accounting software to update financial records and generate reports.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of direct experience in Accounts Payable or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors quickly.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Must be available to work the night shift rotation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
