Responsibilities
- Process and verify high-volume vendor invoices for accuracy, coding, and approvals.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies within 24 hours.
- Manage the month-end close process, including accruals and adjustments.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment status and billing inquiries.
- Maintain accurate electronic and hard-copy filing systems for audit purposes.
- Utilize ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) to update financial records nightly.
- Assist in the monthly audit preparation and supporting documentation requests.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related finance role.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and AP software.
- Must be available to work the night shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) consistently.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts.
