We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dedicated night operations team in New York City. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring that vendor invoices are processed accurately and payment is made on time. You will work independently during our night shift, providing essential support to our day operations and maintaining strict compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Responsibilities
- Review, code, and accurately enter vendor invoices into the ERP system (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite).
- Verify invoice accuracy against purchase orders and receiving reports to prevent duplicate payments.
- Prepare and process weekly and bi-weekly vendor payments via wire transfer, ACH, or check.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies or queries efficiently.
- Assist with month-end close procedures, including accruals and aging analysis.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all accounts payable documentation.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to resolve invoice routing issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting.
- Proficiency with ERP software (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) is highly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to work accurately with high volumes of data and tight deadlines.
- Must be available to work the night shift on a permanent basis.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive problem-solving attitude.
