Responsibilities
- Process and verify high-volume invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment issues.
- Maintain and update the AP ledger and reporting systems during the night cycle.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and audit trails.
- Ensure timely payment of all liabilities to maintain strong vendor relationships.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or General Ledger.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle NetSuite, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Must be available to work the Night Shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
