Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Accurately receive, verify, code, and enter invoices into the accounting system (NetSuite/QuickBooks).
- Payment Management: Process payments via ACH, wire transfer, and checks within established payment terms to ensure timely vendor settlements.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or billing errors promptly to maintain healthy vendor relationships.
- Reporting & Analysis: Generate and analyze AP aging reports to identify overdue accounts and optimize cash flow.
- Vendor Communication: Professionally communicate with vendors regarding payment status, inquiries, and billing issues.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in a high-volume or corporate environment.
- Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work the night shift (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and AP software (NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP).
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of error-free data entry.
