Responsibilities
- Process high-volume accounts payable transactions with 99.9% accuracy
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve payment discrepancies within 24 hours
- Reconcile AP sub-ledgers with general ledger monthly
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Maintain organized digital and physical documentation for audits
- Collaborate with procurement and accounting teams on process improvements
- Support tax compliance documentation and 1099 processing
Qualifications
- 3+ years of accounts payable experience in corporate or mid-size environment
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros)
- Associates degree in Accounting or Finance required; Bachelor's preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Experience with electronic payment processing systems
