Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and process a high volume of vendor invoices for payment in accordance with company policies and payment terms.
- Reconcile monthly vendor statements, investigate discrepancies, and resolve billing errors efficiently.
- Manage the AP general ledger, ensuring accurate coding of expenses and proper account reconciliation.
- Communicate proactively with vendors regarding invoice status, payment schedules, and resolving outstanding queries.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems to ensure audit readiness and easy retrieval of documentation.
- Assist in month-end close procedures and prepare reports for management analysis.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, AP Clerk, or a similar finance role.
- Proficiency in AP software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and internal control best practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred.
