Responsibilities
- Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
- Manage the AP ledger and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare and issue payments via check, ACH, or wire transfer within agreed-upon terms.
- Communicate effectively with vendors to address payment inquiries and resolve issues.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Assist with month-end close processes and financial reporting support.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of proven experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in data entry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
