Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or billing errors promptly.
- Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including data entry, payments, and maintaining the general ledger.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Maintain and update vendor master files and address records.
- Prepare weekly and monthly payment runs via various payment methods (ACH, wire, checks).
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding invoice status and payment inquiries.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Experience with AP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks) is a strong plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
