Responsibilities
- Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy, proper coding, and necessary approvals.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Manage the full Accounts Payable lifecycle, ensuring timely payments to vendors.
- Communicate proactively with vendors regarding payment schedules and inquiries.
- Assist in month-end close processes, including accruals and financial reporting.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documentation.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) to track expenses and generate variance reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in Accounts Payable or General Ledger accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Experience with ERP systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect and correct errors in financial data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective vendor relations.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Relocation support available for candidates in Virginia or the greater Charlotte area.
