Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Accurately process, verify, and code high-volume invoices for payment in a timely manner.
- Vendor Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, resolving discrepancies and maintaining positive relationships.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations and AP sub-ledger reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Expense Management: Review and approve employee expense reports in compliance with company policy.
- System Management: Maintain and update the AP system, ensuring all documentation is properly filed and accessible.
- Month-End Close: Assist the accounting team with month-end close procedures, including accruals and reporting.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; High School diploma/GED required.
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Excel Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a strong ability to spot errors and inconsistencies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
