Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse small business clients
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Oversee payroll processing and tax filings
- Implement and maintain QuickBooks systems
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation
- Train junior accounting staff on financial procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- CPA or QuickBooks certification a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
