Responsibilities
- Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and timely payment
- Reconcile accounts payable sub-ledger to general ledger
- Manage payment schedules including check runs and ACH transactions
- Resolve vendor discrepancies and maintain positive relationships
- Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting
- Implement process improvements for AP efficiency
- Support audits and ensure compliance with financial policies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Associates degree in Accounting or Finance required
