Responsibilities
- Process and verify 100+ vendor invoices weekly ensuring accuracy and timely payment
- Reconcile accounts payable ledger with general ledger monthly
- Manage expense reports and employee reimbursements with strict compliance
- Resolve payment discrepancies and vendor inquiries within 24 hours
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for audit readiness
- Collaborate with procurement and treasury teams on process improvements
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, or similar accounting software
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAP) designation a plus
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment
