Responsibilities
- Process and verify 100+ vendor invoices weekly ensuring accuracy and timely payment
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve payment discrepancies proactively
- Reconcile AP sub-ledgers with general ledger monthly
- Assist in month-end closing and financial reporting preparation
- Implement AP workflow improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Conduct expense audits and maintain compliance with SOX controls
- Train junior staff on AP procedures and system operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- 3+ years of full-cycle accounts payable experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience with high-volume payment processing (1000+ invoices/month)
- Professional certification (CAPP or similar) preferred
