Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and approval before payment.
- Enter vendor data into accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks) with high precision and speed.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any billing discrepancies or queries.
- Prepare and issue weekly and monthly payment runs to vendors.
- Assist with month-end close procedures, including accruals and financial reporting.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date digital and physical filing systems for all financial records.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external vendors regarding invoice status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Previous experience with accounting software is a plus but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, professional environment.
