Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Review and match purchase orders, receiving reports, and invoices to ensure validity before payment.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or billing errors promptly.
- Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical filing systems for all AP documents.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to answer inquiries and resolve payment issues.
- Assist in month-end close procedures and prepare AP aging reports as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage high-volume data entry tasks efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
