Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness before payment.
- Maintain and update vendor files and master data in accounting systems.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and analyze accounts payable aging.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external vendors regarding billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related finance role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and AP software (SAP, NetSuite, or QuickBooks).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are not required but may be beneficial.
