Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests within SLAs
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve payment discrepancies proactively
- Reconcile accounts payable sub-ledgers with general ledger monthly
- Assist in month-end closing and financial reporting preparation
- Implement process improvements to enhance AP efficiency and accuracy
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX regulations
- Collaborate with procurement and accounting teams on financial initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of accounts payable experience in a corporate setting
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and SOX compliance
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
- High attention to detail with zero tolerance for errors
