Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, coding, and approvals
- Manage vendor payments and resolve payment discrepancies
- Reconcile accounts payable sub-ledgers to general ledger
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems
- Communicate professionally with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Support audit preparation and documentation requests
Qualifications
- 2+ years of accounts payable experience required
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or SAP accounting systems
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with high-volume invoice processing
- Knowledge of Arizona sales tax regulations
