Responsibilities
- Process high-volume accounts payable transactions with precision and timeliness
- Reconcile vendor invoices and resolve discrepancies through proactive communication
- Manage payment cycles including check processing, ACH transfers, and credit card payments
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial documentation
- Collaborate with procurement and accounting teams to resolve payment issues
- Support month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors
Qualifications
- 3+ years of accounts payable experience in a corporate setting
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle)
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required (Bachelor's preferred)
- AP or CIPS certification a plus
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a high-volume environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
