Responsibilities
- Process high-volume invoice payments and expense reports with meticulous attention to detail
- Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Collaborate with international teams across Illinois and Texas locations
- Optimize payment cycles to maximize early payment discounts
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial documentation
- Conduct month-end closing procedures for AP sub-ledgers
- Support internal audits and compliance initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of high-volume accounts payable experience
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred)
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong analytical skills for resolving payment discrepancies
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAP) preferred
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance (IL/TX)
