Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and accurately enter vendor invoices into our accounting software (QuickBooks & SAP).
- Data Entry: Maintain precise records of financial transactions, ensuring all data is error-free and up-to-date.
- Vendor Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors regarding billing inquiries, payment schedules, and discrepancies.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable statements to ensure all payments are accounted for and processed correctly.
- Report Generation: Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and expense summaries for management review.
- System Maintenance: Organize and file physical and digital documents in a systematic manner for easy retrieval.
- Assistance: Support the senior finance team with ad-hoc accounting tasks and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience: No prior experience required; we value attitude and aptitude over history.
- Computer Skills: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is essential.
