Responsibilities
- Process and verify high-volume invoices for accuracy, completeness, and authorization before payment.
- Reconcile vendor statements and investigate and resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and issue checks or process electronic payments via our ERP system.
- Maintain and update the vendor master database with current contact information and payment terms.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and financial reporting support.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding account status and payment history in a professional manner.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or QuickBooks) is a strong plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in data entry.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
