Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or billing errors promptly.
- Enter and update invoice data into accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP).
- Prepare and issue payments via checks, electronic transfers, or ACH.
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment status, invoice questions, and account balances.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and generate basic financial reports.
- Maintain organized, up-to-date digital and physical filing systems for all financial records.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn new accounting software and internal processes.
