Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained before payment.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Input and maintain accurate data in the company’s accounting software (QuickBooks/SAP).
- Prepare monthly reports on outstanding payables and aging schedules.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve billing issues and answer inquiries.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Basic computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new financial software systems.
- Reliable attendance and a professional work ethic.
