Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and authorization.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any billing discrepancies or questions.
- Enter and update financial data into accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage).
- Prepare and process payments via check, ACH, or wire transfer.
- Maintain organized filing systems for both digital and physical financial records.
- Communicate professionally with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
- Assist in the month-end close process by compiling necessary documentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a strong plus.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in data entry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles is preferred but not required.
