Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Accurately receive, code, and process invoices in accordance with company policies and payment terms.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements monthly to identify and resolve any discrepancies or billing errors promptly.
- Payment Management: Prepare and issue payments via ACH, wire transfer, or check while adhering to strict internal controls.
- Vendor Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors regarding billing inquiries, status checks, and payment discrepancies.
- Data Entry & Reporting: Maintain accurate records in the general ledger system and assist with month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
- System Maintenance: Update and maintain vendor master data and ensure all documentation is organized and filed correctly.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors, verify data integrity, and maintain organized records.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with vendors and internal teams.
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred; High School diploma required.
- Organization: Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
