Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and budgets.
- Input and maintain financial data in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Prepare and send invoices, and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Support the Finance Manager during the month-end closing process.
- Organize and file physical and digital financial documents for easy retrieval.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or an accounting clerical role.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies in data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet strict deadlines.
