Responsibilities
- Process daily accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monthly financial reporting.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date digital and physical filing systems.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare and send invoices to vendors and clients.
- Reconcile discrepancies in financial records and resolve queries.
- Assist the Accounting Manager with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or administrative role is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
