Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize cash flow operations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for executive leadership and external partners
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal control procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems (QuickBooks/NetSuite)
- Lead audits and respond to financial inquiries from stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar accounting software
- Expertise in financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-currency transactions and international accounting standards
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Remote work experience with excellent communication skills
