Position Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and supporting the month-end close process. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger account analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Support the month-end and year-end close procedures, including journal entries and accruals.
- Conduct financial audits and coordinate with external auditors as needed.
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance requirements.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) to track financial data and generate reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Candidate status is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups) and accounting software.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to stakeholders.
