Responsibilities
- Manage General Ledger: Perform daily reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records for multiple accounts.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, track payments, and manage cash flow efficiently.
- Payroll Assistance: Support the payroll team in ensuring accurate and timely employee compensation.
- Audit Support: Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and respond to auditor inquiries.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with federal and state regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions required).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and ensure data accuracy.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Availability: Ability to work full-time, including potential overtime during month-end close.
- Certifications: CPA or CMA certification is a plus but not mandatory.
