Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial records are accurate.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct financial audits and internal control reviews.
- Collaborate with management to improve budgeting and forecasting accuracy.
- Maintain organized financial documentation and filing systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification or equivalent professional experience is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
