Role Overview:
As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial health, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing accurate reporting to stakeholders. This is a full-time position ideal for a motivated professional ready to make an impact.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries and accounts payable/receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely filing.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Perform internal audits and assist external auditors during the annual review process.
- Process payroll and ensure all payroll-related reports are accurate and submitted on time.
- Utilize financial software to track expenses and forecast future financial needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of professional accounting experience (internships included).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
- Strong understanding of tax laws and financial regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
