Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounts and perform month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring all invoices are paid accurately and on time.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card balances on a monthly basis to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare and assist with the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and tax filings as required.
- Assist in the internal and external audit processes by providing requested documentation and explanations.
- Monitor accounts for unusual items, investigate discrepancies, and recommend solutions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-4 years of professional accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Must be detail-oriented and possess strong problem-solving abilities.
