Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with audit-ready accuracy
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and reconcile bank accounts
- Oversee payroll processing for 50+ employees weekly
- Assist with month-end closing and budget variance analysis
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews
- Lead special projects including tax compliance preparation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
